Ode to Wipeout v1.0

I've been a fan of the Wipeout series of Sony  Playstation games for quite some time - 
actually that's why I got a Playstation in the first place - the need for high velocity anti-gravity racing - yeah!
The whole series is based in the future where mega corporations sponsor anti-gravity racing around the world.
Great racing, pounding Techno soundtracks and slick graphic design by the Designers Republic are halmarks of the series.

As a long time lego builder I mainly create different types of spacecraft but one afternoon I decided to build a wipeout style racer.
It wasn't long before the Schraf Boxer was born. Technically it's smaller than a Wipeout racer should be but I was pleased with 
it's overall design especially the cockpit design and the later modified flaps/vanes/air-brakes. 
The Schraf is obvously light, quick and dangerously manuverable.
Also, as in the game, the racers pick up differnet types of weapons from targets on the track. 
The Schraf actually has two pylon mounted pods that wih a little imagination could be replaced during flight.
