VW beetle 4 studs wide Uli Meyer, Germany, ulimy@freenet.de This is another remake from the townplan (see my ESSO-station). Thanks to Clark Stephens and his Vintage Gallery. I faked the original VW-Verkauf (=sale) sign. Besides the town plan there where different VW-packages. There was a VW garage 0306 and the shop 0307 as far as I know. I have seen many VW-beetles (KŠfer) in bricks, but none 4 stud wide so far. Tell me, if you know one! Finally I found out it's not only the overall round outline, also the running board is very important to make it look like a beetle. So it needs roundabout a dozen jumper bricks (1x2 tiles with one stud). You might wanna add doors, side windows, bumpers (bend it a little) or even a little driver (1 head-with-hole-in-the-stud, 1 jumper-brick, 2 1x2-plates). Nice car! I remember I learned driving in my grandfather's... and once my brother had an engine fire....
