I recently acquired set 42000 mainly because I already own the other big race cars (8458, 8461, 8674). I was curious to see if the bigger racing wheels would fit onto 42000. There are a few picturs on brickshelf already but without giving too much detail resp. information.

My experience is:
- The front wheel will scratch if steering is turned into maximum. But this can be fixed easily by rearranging the mount as indicated in pictures 42000_3x.png. No additional part has been used.

- The rear wheels will touch the bottom black plates of the chassis if the model is off the ground (42000_21.png). But when set to the ground there is enough clearance so that the wheel van spin freely. This is because the model lowers by its own weight.

- The yellow lever will touch the right rear wheel when the spoiler will be adjusted. I didn't try to change it because there is little room to attach anything else than the 3x5 L beam. Picture 42000_48.png shows that there is little clearance toawrds the engine cover when this is raised.
