Hi all, This church is build after the real one in Heddal Notodden Norway at abouth 60 km West of Oslo. I first tried to build it at minifig scale (+- 1/40) but i should need to modify too many bricks, so i decided to build it a bit larger and keep a minimum of 'arches', without modifying a single brick or plate. After browsing the internet for clear detailled pictures, wrote i an e-mail to someone who brought me in contact with "riksantikvaren" of Norway. There i asked of i could get some plans of the building, and after a few weeks, i got 2 mails, each with 3 pictures of plans from the church in the years 1953 - 1954. These pictures formed the base of the building and where my guidinglines to build it as it is now. Not only the building was a challenge to build, also obtaining enough tan bricks 1x4 log! I didn't count them, but i ordered around 1500 pieces in more then 15 locations around the world, and only a few are leftover. When i have some better pictures of the model without the disturbing trains in the background, i'll post them to replace those you see now. Enjoy Regards, Ludo Soete
