These images had been my test images for testing the 12V train parts which I created for LDRAW.

These parts became official with LDRAW parts update 2012-01.

The images have been generated

- from official LDRAW parts contained in the official parts update 2012-01
  http://www.ldraw.org/Article608.html

- plus a handful of yet unofficial parts from
  http://www.ldraw.org/cgi-bin/ptlist.cgi

- Bent cables have been generated from these parts
  http://www.ldraw.org/cgi-bin/ptreviewsummary.cgi?f=electricplugs
  using LSYNTH
  http://lsynth.sourceforge.net

- No special or custom parts were added manually.

- The scenes have been assembled in MLCad
  http://mlcad.lm-software.com

- then viewed and exported to POVRay by using LDView
  http://ldview.sourceforge.net

- Then, in the POVRay file, the scene got extended by a surrounding sphere from
  http://povray.tashcorp.net/library/sky_sphere/
  , and the metal colors got manually modified.

- Then the scene was rendered in POVRay 3.7 beta
  http://www.povray.org

- Last step was editing my name into the image with an image editor.
  No other image postprocessing.
