Sniper Rifle: I revised Kotaro Ono's Long-Range-Sniper-Rifle (http://brickshelf.com/gallery/EARL-0/Military-MOCs/brickhounds02.jpg), it now has a magazine, and an overall "sleeker" look.

Assault Rifle: I got the idea to for the minifig hand as ammo magazine from Gary Thomas (http://attila.sdsu.edu/~thomas/lego/iscc2001/images/8.jpg). However, I decided to make mine a bit more "modern" and used C-3PO's hands to simulate a transparent plastic ammo magazine.
