made in October 2002 for a Public display at the Trains 2002 with the Vancouver Lego club www.vlc.ca The key points on the model are - The hidden engine wheels ,I saw this on brickshelf before but modifed it to be one long smooth panel, the original was to be used to cover the wheels on a big prototypical engine The Layout we had had tight clearences on all turns, hence the pivoting tail The front is the best part , I wanted to create a modern space theme train , but with that deco , streamlined steam engine look too . the reverse boat hulls that i used for feet in my earlier models seems to fit the bill . Research and Development to build so it would work took about 1 hours with about 2 hours to detail. Send questions to Hanzo45@hotmail.com with the Subject of "Lego" Thanks for reading !
