After completing a semi-auto gun (one folder up --> gun), a side loader, I wanted to make a real 'bottom-loader'. 
Some time ago I thought about a double ratchet system activated after each shot. This works with one stationair
ratchet and a ratchet which moves up and down pulling one brick (= one bullet) at a time. The moving ratchet
is offcourse connected to the trigger to move once every shot. 
It's difficult to decide the power of my gun, but at a height of 1 meter and no angle, the bullets hit the ground
at about 4 meters from the gun. I know it's not powerfull, but for a pure lego gun (no non-lego rubberbands, no non-lego springs)

Like I said before, the model is not made for shooting, I built it to study possible gun mechanisms for lego guns.
